How to Install Malwarebytes

Download the Installer

Click the download button above for your device. Save the file to your computer (Windows/Mac) or install directly from app store (Android/iOS).

Run the Installer

Locate the downloaded file (MBSetup.exe for Windows or Malwarebytes.pkg for Mac) and double-click to run it. If prompted, click "Yes" to allow changes.

Follow Setup Wizard

Launch & Activate

📌 Installing Malwarebytes on Windows

Step 1: Download MBSetup.exe from our download section above.
Step 2: Right-click the file and select "Run as Administrator".
Step 3: Click "Yes" on the User Account Control prompt.
Step 4: The setup wizard will open. Click "Install".
Step 5: Wait for installation to complete (usually 1-2 minutes).
Step 6: Click "Finish" and Malwarebytes will launch automatically.
Step 7: Activate your license or start a free scan.

Step 1: Download Malwarebytes.dmg from our download section above.
Step 2: Open the DMG file by double-clicking it.
Step 3: Drag the Malwarebytes icon into the Applications folder.

Step 5: If macOS shows "cannot open because developer cannot be verified", go to System Preferences → Security & Privacy → Click "Open Anyway".
